The Philippines

I visited to the Philippines on August-September, 2002. One of purpose of the visit is an exchange of de la Salle University with Ibaraki University and the other purpose is a volunteer as a temporary chemistry teacher of the high school division of the Holy Child School of Davao under financial support of the president of Ibaraki University. It is rare to teach high school students abroad by a university professor in Japan.

Manila

Metro Manila is a capital of the Philippines. It takes 4 hours from Tokyo by plane.

De la Salle University-Manila- is one of the best private university of the Philippines. There are some students who are students of Ibaraki University as exchange students.
